Matt Mullaney brings wide-ranging experience in healthcare to his role at Charles River Community Health, most recently serving as a founding executive, CFO, and division President for Community Care Cooperative, Inc. (C3), a network of non-profit health centers (FQHCs). His prior experience includes work in venture capital, consulting, a health plan (Harvard Pilgrim), and a multi-state family caregiving services provider (Careforth). Matt’s family experience with sickness and health animates his work to improve access and quality of care. Matt earned his BA from Harvard College and MBA from MIT Sloan. Originally from Boise, Idaho, Matt lived in Somerville and Quincy before settling in Needham, Massachusetts where he lives with his partner, three teenage kids, and dog Poppy. Science in Biomedical Engineering, both from Boston University.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Kenya Allen, MHA – has over 15 years of healthcare operations and management experience in and around the Greater Boston area. Prior to joining CRCH, Kenya served as Sr. Regional Director of Operations at North East Behavioral Health and Regional Director of Operations for Sound Physicians.
Kenya has also worked in outpatient practice management roles at Brigham and Women’s, overseeing a program for teenage mothers within the OB/GYN department, and Tufts Medical Center. Kenya has great experience managing call centers, process improvement, and budget management that will help CRCH improve our care experience in alignment with our strategic plan.
Kenya also has personal experience with community health centers and is excited to work on-site with staff and patients in a community setting. Kenya earned an MBA in Healthcare Management from Cambridge College and a degree in Health Science from Lasell College in Newton, MA
Klavida Brisson, DNP, FNP-BC joined Charles River Community Health in 2023 with nearly 10 years of experience as a primary care provider and 6 years of clinical leadership experience. Prior to joining us as Medical Director at our Brighton site, Klavdia served in provider and leadership roles at community health centers in Massachusetts and New Jersey and also has experience leading a Nurse Practitioner residency program. Klavdia was promoted to the role of Chief Clinical Officer in January, 2024.
Klavdia earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster, Massachusetts. Klavdia is fluent in French, French-Creole and Spanish.
INTERIM CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Eric Burton has over 30 years of finance experience in the healthcare industry, including 15 years of experience working at Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and 4 years working in an Accountable Care Organization (ACO). Prior to joining CRCH, Eric served as the CEO of the Adirondack Health Institute in Glens Falls, NY in a dual role as the Interim CEO at the Adirondacks ACO in Plattsburgh, NY. Eric has also served in leadership roles in several healthcare organizations in the Albany, NY area.
At CRCH, Eric has responsibility for the Finance department and related accounting, billing, and grants management functions. Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Certificate in Accounting from Siena College, and has served on the Boards of numerous non-profit organizations and associations. He was named CFO of the Year in 2014 by the Albany Business Review.
