On a warm September afternoon, elected officials, Representative Kevin G. Honan and Councilor Mark Ciommo, together attended one of the health center’s Mobile Markets. Through a partnership with Greater Boston Food Bank, we distribute over 4,000 pounds of free fresh fruits and vegetables to over 100 patients and families in need on a monthly basis that is called the Mobile Market. Representative Honan and Councilor Ciommo toured the mobile market and mingled with patients, staff and volunteers from New Balance. They were able to see first-hand the number of families served at this wonderful event.
