Charles River Community Health is proud to announce that Kenya Allen, MHA has been promoted from Vice President of Operations to Chief Operating Officer (COO). This promotion is based on her excellent performance and many accomplishments in the 18 months she’s been at CRCH, from eliminating the referrals backlog, to implementing a better, more cost effective telephonic interpreting service, to streamlining and improving the performance and oversight of operations departments. This promotion is effective as of September 9, 2024.
In her COO role, Kenya will be taking on expanded responsibilities, including working more closely with our Board of Directors, preparing strategy, communication, and planning for board meetings and its committees. Kenya will also work with CEO Liz Browne to have her assume responsibility for managing our internal and external communications, including leading Town Hall meetings, sending out the Moving CRCH 4-ward and other communications updates to staff, and ensuring active engagement on CRCH’s social media. Kenya will also provide executive support and leadership by working to promote a culture of innovation and growth, and is also now a bank signatory for CRCH to help ensure timely payment of vendors and individuals in compliance with our financial policies.
Kenya will continue to provide support and leadership for the operations departments she has been successfully managing since she joined us in March, 2023, including the community health and interpreting team, health benefits, patient services, compliance & risk management, referrals, and the call center.
Please join us in congratulating Kenya on this well-deserved promotion!
